WHY WONT MY HALF-SHAFT GO BACK IN!?!?!?!?!
ok i put a new clutch and flywheel in my zc crx with 91 si transmission. That went fine, but i guess my passenger side half-shaft didnt go all the way in then i put it in. But last night when i drove the car for the first time it drove fine (just went around the block). Then this morning when i backed out of my driveway i made a sharp left (going in reverse) when i went from reverse to first gear there was a pop and the car wouldnt drive. So we pushed it back in the grage. The clutch feels fine in the tranny goes threw all the gears ok. when i got home today i looked under the car and found the passenger side half-shaft wasnt in all the way (needed to go in about another 3/4 inch). but now it wont go in. I have been fighting with it for an hour, the splines are fine, i dont know what the problom is,
i can get it all the way in except for about 3/4 of an inch. dose anyone know what the problem might be????????
help please!!!!

stupid question time.. is the snap ring too lose on the end of the axle. normaly you have to just push the axle into the tranny with a lil force.
are you pushing it in hard? i normally get the axle in the hub and hold the hub like a steering wheel then smack that thing in. also have had to use a rubber mallet to bang it in. if it does'nt have the ring on it i'd get a new one.
