is my tranny dead for good?
yesterday i was messing around with my friends SI and he was driving my car (a 94 EX) we caught a couple runs then when we were heading home he pulls over so i pull to the side and ask him whats up when he says he think my clutch is gone. im like WTF. he says that the car got stuck in second and he couldent get it out so he forced it into third. then the clutch petal went dead. i tried to get it in gear on the side of the road but i could only manage to get it into second so i limped it back to my house in second. I know i need a new clutch but do u guys think anything else got messed up like maybe the fork when my friend forced into gear.

My old CRX did that once, it was real cold out, and I couldn't get it into any gears but like 2nd.....and if I let go of the clutch in nuetral the car would stall, like it was in a gear..
Felt like the flywheel jumped a tooth or something??? but after like 10 mins it just started working, so maybe give it some time and try it? Good luck

your flywheel can't "jump a tooth" jumping a tooth would be like something that would happen when starting your car if it did...only BAD thing that could happen is that it would skip a gear on the starter hence all it is used for is to keep momentum of the motor and to start it.

same exact thign happend to me about 2-3 weeks ago... I replaced the entire tranny... and the clutch and flywheel were fine... I wanted to take apart the tranny... but didn't get time to and just tossed it...
but check your tranny fluid level... mine was bone dry, and the gears had siezed up...

when i bought my integra..the previous owner blew up the clutch disc and then sold it to me...the car did the same thing...clutch would go dead and gears would get stuck unless i revved it hella high and forced it out. umm...im pretty sure u just need to replace ur clutch disc..it worked for me!

u gotta check the brake fluid, same thing happened to me in my friends EG driving from far away, had to drive all the way home in 4th, couldnt stop at stoplights or nothing because it got to the point where it wouldnt go in any gears at all, it turned out to just be the fluids, it was completely dry so it couldnt engage.
