Should I get this camber kit? BCruz or alignment pros please take a look...
Heres the story.....I've got a 97 EJ lowered on GC's (to the top of the tire in front, slightly higher in the rear) with 15" wheels with soon to be 205/55/15 Yok es100's. I'm still on stock shocks, which are still good even after being on Sportlines for 2 years and the GC's for a year. I may be getting AGX's in the near future, but they're not in the budget right now.
As far as camber goes, by sight it's not that bad. The car handles really well, due in part to the negative camber. On the rears I did the washer trick back when the car was on sportlines, and used iirc 3 washers per bolt. I can get a Progress camber kit pretty cheap (which is the only one I will enetertain buying right now) which I'm sure I can install myself as well. Tire wear isn't all that bad, but my tires (which were already worn a bit when I bought the set used), but it's time to replace them. I know toe is usually more to blame, so is it even worth it to buy and install the fron kit? I've heard the stories of the front kits hitting the shock tower and slippage and stuff, but who knows. I basically want to get some decent life outta my new tires, since all I do is commute to work and back and maybe run errands here and there. I'm not afraid of rotating them every few thousand miles either.
Can you all help a brotha out?
Also....how hard is the install on the front kit? I read something about needing new ball joints? Are these cheap? Any How-to's?

A Camber kit would help out alot but wont be 100% until you go to a alignment shop. Im not sure but you could probably go to a alignment shop and just ask to see how your camber and toe really are.
I have a progress camber kit on my car (not the upper control arm, just the bushings that are adjustible) and it helped out alot, but i still need my toe aligned. So itll help alot.

So are there more than one front Progress kit for the EK's? The one I'm getting is from Americas Tire Co. online store. It comes with bothe front and rear. How was the front install on yours?
I'm also picking up the rear sway as well.
Any other advice?
