what size trim turbo? b18b
te/to4e 67 or 60 trim with a .48ar on exhaust (for faster spool) or .60 for a little more topend. personally if you plan on running stock for a while i think you would be happier with a .48 ar. i would get 7 lbs by about 3500 on a t3/to4b .48 ar on hot. id get 12 a couple hundred later
fyi i ran a 12.7 @ 107 on a stock b18b with that t3/to4b

i got a 50 trim t04e series.. it spools nicely, therefore my midrange is great.. however it doesnt really make a huge amount more power after 5,500rpm (but it peaks at 6,500ish) .. i put down 196.7 WHP @ 8 psi and 186 ft lbs ... i bet if i had a 57 or 60 trim i could have put around 220 whp up top but sacraficing mid range..

i dropped around 4,000 (way over my original budget)
1500 will be tough to build a "decent" kit.. if you want a reliable kit, which btw i prefer reliability and quality, you will end up dropping a decent amount
