Default Short throw shifter vs short throw shift adapter

I've seen short throw shift kits that have an entirely new shifter, and i've seen ones that look like just a little block and are labelled as an adapter... is there any advantage that one has over the other? the adapters seem to be a lot less expensive and i don't mind the stock shift **** or anything, so would an adapter be fine? or is there some problem with an adapter that a whole new assembly doesn't have?

the shifters from pspec tuning and from forbidden motorsports are of much higher quality than any adapters. they will give you a much shorter throw since they actually change the size of the shifter. also, the forbidden one is adjustable so you can change the throw to whichever setting you choose

forbidden shifter (aka 4bidden) rocks all those adapters and then some. you want a kick-*** shifter? forbidden is the only way to go.

If they do please let me know.

I know that DC and Neuspeed, along with all the ones seen on ebay make adapters for the 6th gen. I got the DC, and it sure was better than stock, but nothing like a short shifter.

You bumped a 6 year old thread to ask if a shifter made for Prelude/Accord fits a Del Sol?

The answer is no, no they don't. An Integra or Civic probably would.
