Default My DYNO session- NX Wet Shot

Below are my charts from my dyno session, hoping for a little more from the nitrous, but cannot complain about the torque (more torque than HP) The tuner also said my A/F was good. What do u guys think. I had 2 runs 1st was no nitrous and 2nd was spraying. How about upgrading to a 75 shot?, my tuner said it was walking a thin line. My Z6 is still going strong- turbo soon to come.

Run #1 (Stock w/ bolt-ons) Max Power 117.8 Max Torque 99.6
Run #2 (NX 55 Wet Shot) Max Power 158.3 Max Torque 162.7

Below are my mods.

Z6 w/ stock internals
stock timing
NX 55 Wet shot
AEM short ram
pulleys
no A/C
apexi N1 catback
straight pipe

nice, do you have a 1/4mile time w/ the nitrous?

theres plenty of people running 75shots on z6 motors, so i wouldnt be too worried about it.

Very nice power to the ground with the nitrous setup. But I do pray for your stock-*** motor.

N2O has been around for a LONG-*** time, it's pretty god damn safe now-adays. Not to mention Honda engines are pretty bullet-proof.

40-55 shot on stock internals is perfectly safe.

75 is pushing it, and I wouldn't suggest it.

Yeah bro, stock Honda motors are soo bulletproof you don't even know it. Why not look at some carnage pics from even BUILT motors, then get back to me.

He's right, I'd trade my 1.8T in for a Datsun anyday.

Yeah except those times when you get piston slap like a motherfuker, spun rod bearings or better yet a hole somewhere where it's not supposed to be. Besides that they are pretty "bulletproof", lol

The AW4 auto trannies that come in Cherokees, that **** is bulletproof. Drove it 5k with NO FLUID in it, filled it back up, off it went. No grinds, no slippage, and still climbed rocks as if it were a new tranny. That **** is bulletproof. Honda = never bulletproof.

wtf!!??!!? yo had a 200 shot on you Z6, and it surived?!?! and relating to the thread i have a zex nitrous setup and i run 65 shot and lovin it pulls real hard so i think you could be fine with a 75 for track days and so forth but otherwise go with the 55 or 65, then you save nitrous as well

well zex along with other nitrous companies say it is safe to run 75 shots with a stock z6 but as stated before nitrous has become increasingly safe and 75 shot is not that bad, same thing if you were running 10 psi with a turbo most people would say, i think, that that is fine on a stock engine, with proper tuning of course
