Has anyone put a GSR 24mm front sway bar in their EK? Does it fit perfectly? From looking at the picture, they look like they are the exact same shape.

 

do some searching but from what i have been told no Integra front sway bar will fit the EK chassis. I think it hits the shifter assebly or something.

As far as I know you can only use the EK9-CTR front sway which I believe is exactly the same as the USDM/SI front sway. Or you can use the EX sway, eigther way you have to replace your front Lower control arms to the OEM LCA's of which ever sway bar you decide to use.

Recap: To my knowledge you may only use a front sway bar off of a 96-00 Civic chassis, and to mount them you will need the corisponding LCA's

 

do I have to replace the LCA if I use the EX sway bar? It looks almost the same.

 

i'm not sure about the front.. but i just found out my dx rear lca's have all the required mounting points for a rear 99-00 si sway bar..

 

yes there is no OEM sway bar on the 96-00 hatches, hence there is no sway bar mounting point.

The EX LCA's are actually two peices and I belive that you can use just the one side with the mounting point along with the opposite side of your OEM LCA and you have an EX LCA.

The SI however has a one peice LCA and a different sway bar and mounting point. SO which ever sway bar you use you have to use the corresponding LCA
