i've been researching on all kinds of subwoofer such as diamond audio, image dynamics, boston acoustic, and jl audio w7s, im lookin to get whatever is good and have a longevity in its life time. anyone comment on any subs please do and what amps are good? are the memphis amps good though please imma newbie on this

i have a memphis mojo amp KICK ***!!!! and mmats (from florida) amps get excellent reviews from buddies of mine.

 

The new boston subs are gonna be awesome. The G5 (think that the series) will be fully servicable. Which will be really handy for both warranty as well as if you cook it when it is off warranty. I have 2 pro 12.5LFs and they go hard and I have beaten the **** outta them and you could never tell. Diamond Audio subs don't like cold weather. I have seen 2 TDX 12's have the cones rip on them when it was cold outside.

For Amps... Boston Amps are awesome. they have good crossovers built in and well dual 4 gauge powers and grounds connects, you know that amps gonna have some power to it. I have a GT-28 and a GT-42 in my civic and I love it.

 

there's no sense in use recommending things unless you tell us what you are after....

maybe give us an idea of a system you have heard in the past, and how you would like your's to stack up against it.
