i have a problem with my blitz front bumper from aerotrends.com, when i try to put it over the stock metal reinforment it like bows the top up and stuff. do i need to modify the reinforment for it to work or do i have a bad bumper.. ok i trimmed and trimmed and nothing bu i think i might have to notch the reinforment any suggestions will work thanks

 

Yea man i have a suggestion.........Put ur stock front bumper back on and u wont have any more problems with it.

 

friend of mine had trouble with same front end on his car. it was fiberglass. he ended up having to throw it out

i'm not a body shop guy, and most people here have a hate for bodykits so i'd ask a body shop that does custom work. they probably won't charge you for diping into their knowledge

 

Ive got an Invader kit, thought you would be able to just chuck it on the bolt it up

Wasnt the case, I had to cut some metal in some places with a cutoff wheel.

Took maybe 2 hours, finally got in on that day only to find that it fit poopy and didnt line up with the OEM bolts nor the fenders, SO I moulded the whole kit, was fun and I learned a lot about body work

 

Before you get mad and throw it out. I would check for a notch in the reinforment. That is what the problem in my frinds 898 CRX was when we put on his bodykit.
