hey i just installed 390 injectors into my ek for my turbo set up i got a p28 fully chipped for turbo and everything well i got a problem with the new ecu it has rpm felex or when it jumps u no at idle. i think the injectors are high impedence but im not for sure so i was wondering if anyone here knows? plz help me cuz i really want to get the car up and running. and this problem is holdin me down. i think i need to put some resisters in there but im not for sure. oh by the way it keeps throwing a check engine light too.

 

im pretty sure all dsm injectors require a resistor box..

what CEL is it throwing??

 

i dunno what it is cuz my service manual reads in the po wahtevers but with the chipped p28 it flashes one long one and 4 short ones on that check engine light. but i just dont no i bought resistors and got them in there and the light is still on so i have no clue. help me please. thanks a ton.

 

code your getting is 14 iac valve which controls intake idle air, you sure its not one slow blink and 6 fast ones which will be your fuel injectors code 16.

i dunno cuz the idle fulex's now u no when it goes up and down and up and down at idle. it does that and its running rich. which in the chip we set it to rich to make sure we dont lean out but there is something that isnt right.

a bad IACV will cause the idle to go up and down like you describe..

 

ya but heres the punch line. it only does that with the chipped ecu it doesnt do that with the stock one.
