Surging after injector swap.
What's going on everyone. I have a surging problem after I installed 310 r/c injectors on my car. The engine surges from 1000 to 1500 rpm's. I've checked just about everything as far as vacuum leaks goes, checked the fast idle valve, iac motor, etc. The car doesn't have the cel light on. Still have the stock ecu. Just did the inj. to experiment. Could my problem be running too rich at idle? Thanks for all the help.

Re: Surging after injector swap. (1bad-eg)
you've got a set of injectors that are of different size then your ecu is calibrated to control.

Re: Surging after injector swap. (SOHC_MShue)
Found the problem. Where the injectors go into the intake manifold there are 2 types of grommets. 1 that is soft and 1 that is some type of hard rubber. How come I have 2 different types? Don't know, but anyway, had a huge vacuum leak from the base of the injectors. Installed the right grommets and now no more surging. Thanks
