Default ARP head studs

For ARP head studs i dont have any lube left wondering if theres any other lubes i could use? thanks BOb

serioiusly, ive never built a motor before but i think you need assembly lube. if your in an emergency, some motor oil may work. but again im not saying it will work because ive never taken my motor apart and thats just an idea..

the box comes with torque specs for ARP moly lube, standard assembly lube and motor oil, there is a different spec for each, if you lost the specs check online.

Maybe you can try the moly lube from Napa Auto Parts. It's not as thick as the ARP moly lube but is thicker than regular engine oil. I used it many times to put my drag motor together and for cam installations. I get the part number for you if you need it.

it says to just use the ARP lube. Not sure if i'd use any other lube on them. Installed mine this morning!

you can use motor oil ive read but id be hesitant. just gotta toque down like 7lbs more with that method
