To anyone with A/C problems....
If you read my last post, I was having some problems....a/c been giving me probs for a year now......after learning about the IAC valve just recently i cleaned it out with carb cleaner in like 10 mins, but I was skeptical that it would cure my a/c probs.....cranked her up, and low and behold.....no probs......so if you have some a/c probs with high mileage accords, i would suggest cleaning the iac valve out first before anything

My a/c kept surging like crazy, shaking the crap outta the car.....when i was in neutral. These honda's gum up alot. What other valves and stuff can I take apart to clean? It's got 178k miles and I wanna keep it on the road as long as possible.

Its located in the very back of the engine up top. Check the haynes manual or go to majestic honda website and they have a pic of it. Just two 12 mm bolts to unscrew, and one harness to unplug.

clean out your EGR ports. theres a write-up somewhere on HT. search it and you shall find. after you clean those out, get a can of BG44K for your fuel system cleanup. also replace your fuel filter and PCV valve if you havent already done so.
Shoot some card cleaner into your throttle body and clean out the carbon around the butterfly. these things are all pretty basic but are well worth it.
