how to allow F-series motors to rev higher
what exactly needs to be done to allow for higher revs? in addition to getting a cam with a larger lobe profile, and getting better valve springs to avoid valve float, what needs to be done to our motors?
you just dont!
or you can just not take it high
.. believe or not but hitting redline doesn't give you more power all the time

) more power is to be seen, it is just a different state of tune
white EG is exactly right, you have to get the car dynoed and tuned properly to make that REV range a good idea, your torque is going to drop substanially it that rpm
you might be able to rev to 7500 but when you shift gears are you going to be shifting beyond the peak power range of the next gear making it less effective?
the higher the gear the lower the rpm's i shift at

not really you have to change the fuel map and free areas of flow up to make more power and not lose that torque up top, a good cam would do that, but i think some more can be seen from the stock cam IMO
yeah i din't mean to sound like it cannot be done, but there is some precision mechanics involved in getting it done right so you don't lose that high end torque
yeah yeah homes
