any1 else hate aicv's?
hey my idle has been surging lately, so i went and unplugged the aicv to see what would happen.
when its connected i get no codes and my idle is like surging like a ****, it surges 500rpm. like back and forth between 1500 and 2000 normally.
when i unplug it, i throw codes but it has good steady idle at about 500rpm. a lil rough since its low, but im thinkin i need to unplug it and chip my ecu so it doesnt look for it. then i could turn the idle up to 600.
has any1 done this or tried anything else to fix this problem? im going to try hooking up another aicv thats not mounted on anything to see if maybe it wont throw codes. i doubt it will work tho.

I am recently have some issues with my iacv too. The idle will randomly go up and down, not to your extent, but go from 100-250, then level to normal.
I'm oging to clean it out this weekend as per this link....
