well im running stock ignition right now and im looking to upgrade

i was thinking:
msd ss blaster coil
msd cap
msd 6a or digitial 6
msd 8.5 mm wires
plugs

my question is: is the digitial 6 really worth the extra $130? after all i dont need the rev-limiter or retard cause im running stage 3 hondata.

is there anything else im missing? also my goals are to make around 600 at the wheels so is that the right ignition for my power goals? i hate buying things twice

go with the msd (hvc) those do pretty well in all of our cars, the 6a just doesnt cut it when you start to boost higher

 

HVC???? i looked on summits website and couldnt find anything of the sort

stock is good .. if you really want to upgrade then get an aem ecu and coil packs

 

what do u mean by an aem ecu???i didnt know i needed that since i have hondata stage 3. And what are these coil packs you speak of?

All i want to do is find an ignition set-up that will be able to handle race gas and around 2 bar.

Any more info would be great(sorry im kinda new to this whole honda thing)

keep the stock ignition with hondata ... feel the need the upgrade, ditch hondata , fork over a ton of cash for aem standalone and get coilpacks..
