I have my walbro clipped on all the OEM connections but is that white sack at the bottom of the pump necessary? I bought the walbro and it didn't come with a sack. If it is necessary, how do I disassemble it from the OEM pump onto the new one? http://www.c-speedracing.com doesn't say anything about it so I turn to you guys on this one. Thanks.
On my EF there was a small metal clip thing, that i took off first and them the little filter piece came off.I think you might wanna run that little filter, I'm guessing it keeps big chunks of debris from getting to your pump.
Check with the dealer to see if you can get a new one first. If not, try to swap the other one. it's definetly something you need to ensure longevity of the pump and fuel sys.
Definitely run the filter. You don't want sediment and **** sucking up into the pump. I'd contact the person you got the pump from and get the filter that comes with the Walbro's
