i swaped my h22a1 for a euro-r h22a into my 95 prelude vtec

the h22a1 had 190k miles on it, and a rough idle, bad compression in 3rd cylinder

i'm selling all parts of it off, tranny has already been sold, if you are worried about the bad compression... well the IM, TB and those other things are fine, IAC, whatever, i need all the money i can get, cause i got fired, and i still want to finish my project prelude

also the head when taken off, (it was gonna be sold, but that deal was cancelled...) the valves looked exactly the same (as in 3rd cylinder compared to others) i heard you have to get a shop to tell you if the valves are bent, i don't know if this is true, but if it is, then me looking at them means nothing, if bentness should be visible, then maybe the bad compression was from bad rings on the 3rd piston. anyways, the block is "new" as in it was changed sometime ago, and this h22a1 had the bottom end rebuilt, i dont' know when it was rebuilt though, i am willing to sell the bottom end super cheap, like 200 plus shipping because my goal is to get this engine out of my garage, but at the same time try to get a little bit of money off it because i'm broke

the engine vtec'ed fine when it was in... (4 weeks ago) i didn't go above 6k though because i didn't think the engine was feeling good at that point... (maybe my butt dyno isn't really accurate... but i actually thought the h22a1's vtec kick felt harder then my euro-r h22a... whatever)

if it gets really bad and no one wants this, i will maybe even give the block away for 50, or for free... if any one interested lives in the LA area, i will also let you look at it too... for now, i'll stay off that, but if anyone is interested in this block for free, i guess just leave messages in here too, and if i just really wanna get rid of this thing i'll contact whoever is there, please though... i don't think 200's that much... but added to any other money i can get off of the engine, maybe i can buy hid's (part of my project) or some sound system parts
