If i run a p30 w/ the knock disconnected will it run bad??

or will it affect anything at all??

You will have a constant CEL and possibly limp mode, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I would just chip it and use the stock P30 program with the knock sensor disabled.

buy a p28 and chip that.. dont ever chip a p30 its worth too much .. if its an american one

Knock sensor doesn't make your car run in limp mode. But sure does get annoying though.

yes, it will run like crap. Wire up the knock sensor.
