Default 91 Civic DX Engine Swap

Can you remove the engine alone or do you have to remove the transaxle along with it? My husband has been trying to get the engine out for 2 days now. He says everything is disconnected, but he can't get the engine separated from the tranny. Please help.

Yes you can remove them seperately, but it's so MUCH easier to pull them together.

Agreed, just have him pull the tranny as well to make it easier on him.
