Help! Car won't start!
Ok, I went home today after work to put a switch for my fuel pump. Well, I ran the wires, and spliced into the yellow/black wire running to the fuel pump under the back seat. Well, the switch felt like it worked good. When I had it started, I turned it off, and the car shut off. Well, with the switch ON, I tried starting it, and it kept turning, but wouldn't turn over. I tried it again in the OFF position, just to make sure I didn't get anything backward... same result. I tried to fire it up a third time, and all I heard was a click. The battery is fine, and the clicking is coming from the starter.
My gas gauge is a little messed up right now. Would not having any gas in the car just make it click like that? Because I have no idea why or how the starter would all of a sudden take a **** on me like that because of a fuel pump switch. Thanks!

Yup, it turns on. I was able to pop-start it, so it is the starter, or starter related. Basically, now the question is, the yellow/black wire going to the fuel pump under the back seat, how would that make the starter take a **** like that?
the starter will take a dump anytime it feels like it. I changed my ignitor and main relay on my car as well as rotor, all of them broke like one day after the other, then the starter would go out on me, I was so pissed, I was going to just keep knocking it to get it to crank, until one day that didn't help either. I had even gotten another one from my installer and it went on me too. So, I just had to break down and buy a brand new one.
