Walbro fuel pump question
I have recently installed a Walbro 255 in-tank (recently finished turbo install) and I can not hear the thing at all! I have no interior and I am open downpipe. Every other car with a bigger pump I can hear, open header, downpipe etc. Im not complaining just wondering has this happened to anyone else?

yea, listen for it when it primes.

I have the same pump, i can definitely hear mine. I can hear it when i put it to the acc position and it primes the system, and i can hear it sometimes at idle.
yeah when it primes you can hear it for sure.. sometimes i cant hear mine and sometimes i can hear it whinning, it seems like its kinda random. ohyeah, when your low on gas it seems to make a lot of noise.. mine does anyways. and im gutted as well. like an audible gas meter hehe

I can hear it very well when it primes, but in other turbo cars I can hear the fuel pumps riding down the road open DP. Im just wondering why mine is not that loud when it is the same pump?

I know, it gets kinda loud in other cars, so noone thinks anything is mechanically wrong then?
