Default Walbro fuel pump question

I have recently installed a Walbro 255 in-tank (recently finished turbo install) and I can not hear the thing at all! I have no interior and I am open downpipe. Every other car with a bigger pump I can hear, open header, downpipe etc. Im not complaining just wondering has this happened to anyone else?

Robbie

You should be able to hear it if you turn the key to acc on position.I've got the same one and I hear mine plenty loud.

If you can hear the fuel pump over the open downpipe there may be a problem with it.

I have the same pump, i can definitely hear mine. I can hear it when i put it to the acc position and it primes the system, and i can hear it sometimes at idle.

I can hear it very well when it primes, but in other turbo cars I can hear the fuel pumps riding down the road open DP. Im just wondering why mine is not that loud when it is the same pump?

I know, it gets kinda loud in other cars, so noone thinks anything is mechanically wrong then?
