According to King Motorsports the Mugen Radiator is still under development. Can't find anything on Spoon. I have the Fluidyne and am very happy with it.

Just get a Koyo since Koyo makes most of the Japanese aftermarket rads. C&R and Fluidyne are good choices too.

If you are going to spend all that money, might as well get ARC

ARC doesn't make their own rads......

Like I said... get a Koyo, C&R or Fluidyne..

I saw the Koyo side by side with the Fluidine. I walked back and forth several times between the booths at IAS and must say the welds on the Koyo literally made the Fluidyne look like a high school weld project.

How much is the Koyo radiator?
I know that Spoon has two type of radiator, the race version one cost like $2000, but they also have a Sport/street one that cost around $800 Canadian Dollar which is around $2USD with the current exchange rate.

Boy, if $800 CDN = $2 USD I had better plan a trip to the great white north soon...

Yep, I wouldn't have noticed a difference upon memory unless we walked back and worth checking both out. My money will be on the Koyo unit! As for price, the Koyo is a little more than the Fluidyne.

Thanks,

Spoon does make an aluminum radiator. Its a 55mm 3 core radiator . I have it on my car and I liked it very much. I used to have ARC SMC55 it worked very good as well.

I have a C&R! $439 with a SPAL fan!

AJ... Spoon sells an aluminum radiator but it is NOT an in-house part! Like most of their products it is a rebadged item.

ARC is really nice and so is the Spoon - actually I would say that the Spoon rad (although hella expensive) is the nicest one I've seen yet. (I've seen AJ PwRs car up close and personal)

I'm probably going to go with the ugly Fluidyne myself...

Where can I find more information on the Koyo and C&R radiator? Basically I want to know where can you get them in the US or Canada? And how much are they?

Koyo's can be bought from Summit Racing. C&R can purchased directly from C&R but I got mine from Import Auto Salvage.
