integra shift linkage help

I have a 92 integra gs 5sp which has the b18A1. I am removing the motor and tranny due to thrown rod. When i went to disconnect the shift linkage, i got the part with the bolt but cant figure out how to get the other part of the rod off. It looks like it is a pin or something. Or is there a way i can leave the bar on and still pull the motor from the top with a picker.
