so i bought a eg almost 2weeks ago and its a real project.. well i first notice ok there is no stereo.thats fine i have one at home..what i didnt relize is that there is no speakers in the door.DAMN .what size speakers go in a 93 dx.so i can get some or if anyone has some laying around that they are getting rid of let me know..thanks

 

pretty sure they are 6.5". i just ordered 2 pair of Alpines for my sol.

 

its either 6 or 6.5

go to crutchfield and look under your car and it tell you what all the speaker sizes in your car...

 

6 1/2" is for the door, 6" and 5 1/4" will also work if you wanna save $$

I put 5 1/4" alpine type S's in my front and rear of my 92 hatch and they sound bad ***.

 

i have a 93 civic ex, it takes 6.5's stock, i upgraded mine, then in the rear i bought some 6x9's....they dont fit! only in the 96-00 civics use rear 6x9, so its 6.5 in the rear too. Unless you want to take off your stock grills and make it look ugly and a target to theives.

 

6.5's in the front, you can do 6x9's in the back

 

so if i want to put speakers in the rear i would have to cut a hole for the speakers cause the dx dont have speackers in the back or am i missing something
