crx sunroof seal question

i was wondering if this seal is supposed to have some kind of glue holding it down. i notice mine is able to lift up around the edges and am worried about rust forming. if there is supposed to be something there , what is the best thing to use to seal it back up?
thanks a lot,
drew

There is no glue holding the rubber down. the gasket is sandwiched between the sunroof panel and some retainers on the inside of the panel (its covered by the vinyl covered thing on the inside of the sunroof).

Are you talking about the black rubber ring that is on the top of your roof--around the sunroof panel? As is show in your picture? That's what I thought you were talking about.

Yes, as posted above it's wedged between the top of the panel and the interior trim.
Everyone thinks that the CRX sunroof is air and watetight but it's really not.
If you look closely you can tell that the weatherstripping is only designed to keep noise out of the cabin when it's closed. If you slam the doors the roof pops up for a split second, and the basin underneath the mechanism is used to drain water away. Quite ingenious a design if you think about. The first car where the sunroof slid OUT, instead of inside the roof.
