Fuel lines removal: How to?
How do you remove the fuel lines at the fuel filter of a '90 CRX Si, without bending the lines or destroying the rubber mounted bracket?
I tried a 1/2 drive ratchet and nothing. The lines and bracket started twisting and then bending.
But the service bolt and the banjo didn't budge.
Theres too much play in the mount bushings.
Any tips? The bolts seem pretty oxidized.

Exactly, you have to get the torque down and the bolt loose quick enough so the filter doesnt have a chance to bend.

I usually have the fuel filter still mounted and have a friend hold the fuel line, I suppose you could impact wrench it too. I always open the gas cap first too, I dont know if it actually helps but it seems like when you do it less fuel comes out of the service bolt.

Fuel cap was off, friend held the filter and lines still mounted on the firewall.
Nothing, wouldn't budge w/ a 1/2 drive ratchet.
