Well, I got a resonator put back on my exhaust system...sounds SOOO much better...almost as quiet as stock...just a hint of a deep tone there when cruising.

Just thought I would pass the word. I no longer have to worry about be singled out by the cops when I get on it now...hee hee..well besides for the paint color of course.

 

what kind of resonator did you have installed? length and diameter??

Its about 18 inches and I think 2.5" in diameter. Not sure who makes it. But it did the trick.

 

did you notice any performance loss?

 

The 5 Zigen exhaust is that loud, interesting. Thanks for the tip.

 

no...the 5Zigen isnt that loud at all...it sounds really good. Nice tone. But when you put on a test pipe and then remove your resonator the 5Zigen came with...it gets VERY loud...like REALTIME Type R loud. I now just put back in a resonator...so its back sounding like it did before.

What muffler shop TJ?

 

Do you have the Fireball or the 304 Speed? And is it 2.25 or 2.5 (I would guess 2.5)
