Default advantages to swapping from below?

are there any advantages to swapping an engine in (d16z6) from underneath? I've done em from above and i was thinking that there's alot less to get around coming up from the bottom...thanks

When I did my swap, I did it from the bottom.... all I had to do was unbolt the mounts a lower front crossmember........ I dont know exactly any advantages per sae......... but I was certainly much easier than I expected.......

depends on what you have to work with, cherry pickers cheap to rent or buy, not everyone has a lift available.

i know when they did my engine they dropped it out the bottom and it seems easier that way. just my 2 cents. they had a cherry picker though and they put the other engine in with that
