It flows better than a K&N but no where close to 50%

K&N is a very well engineered filter design and certainly nothing to turn your nose at.
The APEXi incorporates a "Dual Funnel" Design which is supposed to be the reason for better Flow.

50% better Not even a chance.
I guess it also depends on which K&N you're talking about. I guess a Flat Drop in Filter ( MAYBE) but that is a BIG maybe.

Does that filter fit on an aftermarket intake pipe?
Looks like it bolts on looking at the website pics.

Im pretty sure that there is no Apexi intake available and that the filter is sold by itself. Now whether or not it would fit on other brands...that would depend brand to brand of course.

Yeah $128 is a rip off, as far as the Air filter, I noticed an improvement on my turbo setup, It was a night and day difference, its definitely worth the $$.

I got mine used with under 2k miles, for like $55

Can I fit one of these on a stock intake and will it fit inside the stock air box?

You have to make an adapter for the Filter, theres a piece you can get from Home Depot for under $5 to use as the adapter.

Search under "Bryson" in Forced Induction forum, and youll see the thread he made about this adapter.

128 is a little high, I paid like 74. It fits a stock intake arm. It comes with it's own adapter plate. It doesn't fit in a stock air-box I already tried. It will fit on several intake pipes. I am not positive but I believe someone on the board had an Comptech intake with that filter with an Icebox setup. Is it worth the money, sure, is it worth 128 hell no. I would reccomend violently slapping the person who gave you that high of a price. If you need anymore info please send a pm.
