I put tein spring on my car and I bought an ingalls front camber kit. The directions say to remove the ball joint from the stock A arm and put it in the new one. Well it's not that easy. I took it to a machine shop and they said it can't be done b/c the machine press would damge the ball joint. I tried a really big hammer. No Luck. Any ideas.

 

go to a auto parts store and get a Ball joint seperator
it may damage the boot but i tryed every thing b4 this it took about 10 seconds!

 

Does it go on a air gun or how does it work??

 

you wedge it between the lower cont arm and the BJ(lol)
and just smack it with a hammer and it pops out!

 

its a folk lookin thing that u put between the joint and u hit it with a hammer and the joint should just pop open

folk = fork

it usually damages the rubber boots.

how low did you drop your caR?

 

Thee fork tears the boot but it only takes 5 sec. I ripped my boot 6 months ago using one and to this day it still seems to be fine.

 

when ur balljoint busts dont post and complain.
