Default Question regarding CTR tranny

Car is popping out of third gear under accel/deaccel... I am going to be pulling the tranny here soon and installing a JDM ITR final drive and was going to also replace the synchros while I was in there.. Might also need to replace some other parts as I see needed. Does anyone know if the parts from a 99-00 US SI tranny will work in the CTR? I am pretty sure its identical except for the LSD.

I was thinking more along the lines of worn dog teeth on the gear.

its a synchro tranny, not dog engagement...so....NO.
