The clutch petal feels strong, but I'm having a shitty time trying to get the clutch to fully engage.

I was hoping it was my tranny because I hate this POS tranny, but when I drained my tranny oil it didnt show any signs of metal.

my friends hatch....i would push the clutch in and it would work the first couple times then quit.....i later found the master clutch cylinder to be shot....so i replaced both master and slave and its been fine since.....
this was after bleeding the line over and over again thinking it was air in the line...

 

the first time I was looking in the oil I was using a flash light, now I hit it with a spot light, I got glitter and a nices size shards.

man I hope its they tranny or something besides the clutch. I replaced my MC about a year ago.

 

all this happened when racing at the track.

I heard a crunch and I kept pushing it. won the race, but something is toasted. I've had a hard time getting into gears and sometimes out.
