Hondata or Zdyne (or something else)?
I am in the process of dropping a B16 in my 89 CRX and was looking on some constructive input on the best ECU. When completed the car will be both turbo'd and nitrous'd.
I would say wait until you have it somewhat complete to determine which way to go. I have heard lots of good things from Hondata though, I believe you can also re-program them easily through Hondata.
Just something you need to check out. Could be what you are looking for if you are up to do it yourself projects.

That looks really interesting but I just dont know if Im ready to go for something with no 'professional' support on my first try.
Anyone out there using any of these products?

Well I was asking myself the same thing while piecing together parts for my swap and I decided to run obd1 and hondata. The biggest factor was the shop I wanted to get my setup tuned at was very familiar with hondata and recommended it. It seems many shops are not very familiar with zdyne so I would recommend calling shops in your area and seeing what they can tune.
Thanks that is a great idea! From reading a little tonight it seems that out of the 'freeware' only http://www.ecucontrol.com/ has support for a PR3 ECU. By any chance is there a link for how to mod the PR3 ECU for use with the ECU Control software?

Damn, I wish I knew about this stuff before I got the ZDYNE!! Don't get me wrong, I like the ZDYNE a lot and it's an awesome ECU, but I'd rather do the mods myself and save over $900.... (that's after all the parts and equipment I'd need....)
And ZDYNE doesn't offer data logging yet....

Been reading on this for a while and was wondering if there are any good instructions out there for doing 1 wire VTEC on the PM6 (something with pictures)?
