What would be a good performance upgrade for my B16B????

Default What would be a good performance upgrade for my B16B????

So I just swaped a B16B(EK9 Civic Type-R) into my EG hatch, what do you people suggest my next performance upgrade should be.

nothing. you wasted enough money on the b16b, no sense wasting more on an intake that will get you 2hp. get better brake pads and a nice suspension.

good point why didnt you just spend 100 more dollars and buy a 96-97 b18c

generally a b16b costs more than a b18c1. at least from all the sites i've seen.

no no the 96-97 jdm itr swap is only 100 more than the b16b

we offered suggestions. brake pads and/or suspension. what else do you want?

i say you do your fuel. change your fuel pump, regulator, rail, etc. so you can get the best out of your type r. because w/ your stock pump your not putting out as much since the stock motor is a single. i got a bbk that puts our 225 lph im my eg w/ a jdm b16. thats my .02

b16b is a great motor people I mean idiots think like this= b16b is to much money I will rather get a c5 yes Idiot get a c5 = more money but maybe I got a b16b for half the price or a good deal noo Idiot

get the spoon stroker kit
sell your current pistons etc make some money back

you should go this route, you got the engine now all you need to do is upgrade the suspension and brakes so your car will handle the added weight. You asked for help and Michael did a pretty good job at giving advice

do some searches.. if i had your motor i would do a header off the back. what ecu are you running. if your running the stock p28 get it chipped. them 2 well help out alot. maybe a new fuel rail and regulator. with that stuff your times will be nice..
