Default it's time, but turbo or supercharger?

ok,got the money together...finally. was totally about the jrsc but went for a ride in a friends 97 turbo and was impressed. i myself have a 01 sh with all the bolton goodies and want forced induction but now have toying back and forth for a month.i have about 5k to blow, figuring it's enuogh for a kit and trimmings. because i have an sh my guess was the jrsc was the best power adder due to the atts system, but the turbo was awsome. please could some of you honda gurus give some adviceon what would be the most hassle free descion in the long run?

OK. How much power are you looking to put down? If its in excess of 300 HP i suggest tranny swap. ALSO, if you plan on going hondata, you need to change ECU's which once again, you will lose ATTS and tranny swap would be a good idea.

I havent really seen any crazy amount of power being made on a JRSC. With a turbo, if the bottom end is built, the sky and your pocket are the limit. Ive seen the best results with custom made kits, not to mention you will save yourself some money.

if you want a turbo, trade in your SH for a base and turbo that. Tranny swapping in a SH is more complex than it's worth.
Both systems have their restraints: Turbo being the costliness of maintaining it and JRSC with the limited power production when you peak out the blower's efficiency.

If you want to keep your SH, I suggest you either JRSC it or turbo it running low boost. >250whp your ATTS will go crazy and become dead weight.

Supercharger= power on tap, less hp gains, more reliable

Turbo= wait for turbo to spool, more hp gains, less "reliable", PSSSSHHHHHH
