Default B18B Swap In To 1995 Del Sol SI - wiring?

I have my d16z6 ready to remove from my car, but I need to know whether or not my stock wiring harness can be re-used on the b18b from a 1994 integra RS, or if I will need the wiring harness that the b18b has on it.

If I switch to the integra wiring harness, it should plug directly in to both sets of the stock del sol plugs on the pass and drivers side of the car correct?

Also, I know that I need del sol VTEC shift linkage, but I'm not sure what all I need. My car is manual tranny right now, so can I just buy both rods and be done, or will I need more misc parts for it to bolt to my sol?

Also, if you have the linkage for sale, and can ship it today or tomorrow let me know!

Use your stock wiring harness.

what about for the shift linkage.. Do I just need to two rods, or will I need additional bushings and other misc stuff?

you can use either harness, and as for the shift linkage you will need the entire shift linkage assembly from a del sol VTEC (B16). you will need the shifter rod as well as the stabilizer bar.

So would that be everything in this picture?:

I originally assumed that I could use the connections from the ls tranny and just use #13/#14 re-using all of my stock shifters parts on the shift lever side, and the ls parts on the tranny side..

can someone tell me exactly which parts I need? I want to get this ordered so I can be driving by next friday...

your going to to need everything from #20 and on to the right...i got a quote from Honda just yesterday for some b series shift linkage....with my discount (i work there) its around $83.00...so unless you got a hookup, look to spend around 100 bucks.

at the least you're going to need #13, #14.

#31, #17, #15, #22, #18.

everything else you can just swap over from your old d-series shift linkage. you can re-use the shifter as well as the bushings and bolts.

BTW..salvage yards around here don't keep useful parts.. just useless crap.. anything good they sell for lots of $ or use for themselves....

majestic is the cheapest place so far. that's where i ordered my shift linkage. i wouldn't even attempt to look for a del sol VTEC shift linkage at a junkyard, because del sol VTECs are hard enough to come by as it is.

if majestic doesn't have it i suppose you can order from your local honda dealer. i can't remember, but for that portion of my shift linkage i just used a long bolt with a washer and nut ont he other end and it worked fine.

oh yeah, right now would be a good time to upgrade to ES shifter bushings

What did you do about the extra 2 plugs from the d16z6 wiring harness, I'm doing the same swap on my 93 sol si and want to know if they can be left hanging.

here is difference between original d series and b series transmision beam:

You don't need to change the part 13. I did the swap 6 month agou from 1.5 mono to B16A2. Then from B16 to B18 on same car and we still did not change part 13. It will fit with any B series transmision.
