Dual Carb Zc SOHC????????

Default Dual Carb Zc SOHC????????

im just curious to find out where the Zc carbed engine came from. My d16a6 blew on me so my rex was in the shop with the zc chillen waiting to get put in. and it had 2 carbs chillen and i was like wtf?? cause i only knew at the time that they had a DOHC Zc but i guess now i know....THis engine have Potential??????? feels pretty strong.

its the same as the FI motor...just put the MPFI on it and its the same as the one that comes stock with the MPFI...a bit peppier than the d16a6 my sohc zc ran 15.8's

I think that carbed ZC's (both SOHC and DOHC) are from Japan. There are many laying around in junkyards in here, and they all get their engines from Japan. All of them were double carbed.

Do anyone know which carbs did these engines had stock?

I believe honda used some crappy mikuni carbs, nothin special at all whatever they are

crappy mikuni carbs, I wish. Those are 1200 carbs that got bisi to run 10's on. Mikuni in the tuning world is just has good has webers. Go to d-series.org their is a whole write up on this subject.

im sure bisi isnt running 10's on stock honda carbs. i think by crappy he ment well that the carbs are crappy not the whole company

KEIHIN is the company and they are weak. Mikuni doesnt make any factory honda carbs

Keihin actually does make nice performance carbs such as the FCR's and CR sidedraft flat slides, but yes, the ones that come stock on these ZC's and other motors are not for performance.
