Default zeitronix wideband and one heard of it?

So I was waiting today and picked up the new copy of import tuner and they had a comparison of a few different widebands and the zeitronix caught my eye because it is different and price was not to bad either.

Here is the display

This is the actual brain of the system

Here is the rest of the hardware

taken from companies site:

"Zt-2 the most affordable Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Meter
Only $279 including the Wideband Oxygen Sensor!

No matter if you have a stand alone engine management system or a piggy back fuel control, the Wideband Air Fuel Ratio Meter is a must for a serious tuner! Finally you can tune for more power, closer to the edge, precisely monitoring Air/Fuel ratio Boost, EGT, RPM and throttle position datalogging up to 9 hours of data with a blazing rate of 74 samples per seconds.

Zt-2 is about a size of 1" thick business card.
Extremely compact design for installations where space is a premium.

Zt-2 specs

Operating voltage 10V to 18V
Precise sensor temperature control
Reverse polarity protection
Integrated fuse
Switching power supply for oxygen sensor heater
Flexible Plug and Play Sensor Harness with a small, easy to route through the fire wall, connector
Wideband Oxygen Sensor included
Inputs/Outputs:

Bosch Wideband O2 sensor
Analog Wideband Output (for your favorite Standalone Engine Management System)
Serial data output to the Zeitronix Wideband LCD Display
Serial data output for real time datalogging (PC laptop required)
Simulated Narrowband Output to feed stock ECU
RPM Input (same as 5V square wave tachometer input)
Throttle Position Input
Boost Sensor Input
EGT Probe Input
User Input "

Price actually works out to $399 with the display.

Tell me what you guys think!!!!!!!

I'm trying to organize a group buy for it, PM me if you're interested. It'll be pretty much the same as this one: http://www.zeitronix.com/gb/rennlist.htm

I'd have to say it's the cheapest WB you can get AND it includes a display that is actually mountable. My plan is to maybe take apart the display and flush mount it on a plate that I can put in the din hole below the stereo. It's nice that it can display boost and EGT too.

I emailed the company. There is one input on it, too bad they don't have any plans on giving it programmable inputs.

well, instead of buying the LCD display, could you use an autometer A/F gauge? Will it still be accurate?

not sure if they are like the PLX units that will convert a narrow band guage to read wide band..plus i like that it shows AFR, Boost, and EGT readings

My buddy has one. We used it on a few cars the last time we all dyno tuned and it worked pretty well. He uses it for street tuning as well. No complaints so far either.
