Default bronze valve guides bad for your engine?

theres this machine shop near me, and they do really good work. ive had them do my blocks before. always knowledgable, always do great work for deceant prices.

heres the thing they say not to use bronze valve guides in a honda. they stand by that so hard, that they dont want to fix my head unless i take those out and put steel ones in. they say that they burn up.

these bronze ones i have are ferria ones. what are the pros and cons of both?
