I have installed a basic things like intakes exhaust, headers, and my friend has done intake manifolds and shortshofters and fuel items. My question is can we swap a b16a2 into a 96 del sol or should we gett proffesional help? My friend says we cant, he says there is welding (which we can't do) and there will be too many wireing issues to be able to do it. Is there welding involved and what are some problems that you guys have run into, what should i expect?

Disclaimer: I don't have first hand experience with engine swaps. (yet) So this is all what ive heard and read.

Swapping a b16a2 into a delsol would be extremely. Just make sure that you get a complete swap so your not missing little but important parts like the wiring harness and ECU. Then just search honda-tech.com or google for guides on how to swap the engine in. There is no welding involved. Its really a simple process that you and your friend could do, requiring you have the right parts. But definitely not welding.
