Got an AutoX event on saturday, and I was just wondering what I should set my shocks/struts to.(they are KYB AGXs) Got them set on 2-front, 4-rear. What do you guys suggest?

No, the fronts go to 4 but the rears go to 8.

Yeah I'll try it out, thanks!

Ditto on the no. If you have an adjustable shock, use it to get the best performance you can. Likely you will want to be biased high to the rear to get the car to rotate and want a fair amount of front for roll control. If the fronts have four settings and the rears have eight, I would start out in the 3 and 7 range probably. If the car need for oversteer more, go to 8 at the back and if it needs more yet, drop the front to 2 do increase the bias. If the car has too much oversteer, you could either lower the rear setting or raise the front to 4.
Yes the car should have the proper spring on it but why not use the adjustment that you have to see what effect you can have? If the shock adjustments themselves are not enough, it is telling you that you need bigger changes upstream like springs. Still, since you have the adjustments then at least use them

Mine also go to 8 in the rear. The majority of people say 1-2 in the front, and 6-8 in the rear. Typically, almost always, you will run the rear stiffer than the front to help the rear rotate around.
It depends on your spring rate also. I used to have 450F/350R, and I would run a 2F and 7-8R on my shocks. Now my springs are 350F/450R and I will run 2-3 in front and much softer in the rear, since the springs stiffened up the rear much more than putting the shocks on 8 do.
Just do whatever feels the most comfortable for you.

Thanks for the insight
Then put them @8 unless your car rotates too much...which I highly doubt

4F/3R with comptech springs and rear swaybar. I gots it right where I like it, little bit of rotation without being unruly. An experienced driver may want a little more but for at least halfway through this season they are staying where they are.
Also, what tires are you using? My settings last season were different with Kumho 712's than with the Azenis I have now. To stiff and the 712's would just push like crazy in the front. That is not the case with the Azenis.
