d15b2 Oil Pan on d16z6
100% sure D15's and D16A6 are interchageable.
So I'd say 98% sure the D15's and Z6 are the same.
To be 100% sure, call a honda dealer and get both part numbers, if they match, you have your answer. Actually, I can get the P/N for D15. I have a CRX parts manual in my archives somewhere

It might not. I forget exactly what a D15B2 is. But if it is from either a STD or HF, you will have problems. It seems that Honda decided to make a different oilpan for motors equipped with close-coupled cats. If you try to use a downpipe from a car with a non-close-coupled cat, it will interfere with the oilpan.

ONLY the HF has the cat right up below the ex mani.
Si and DX do NOT.
The D15B2 and D16A6 use the exact same oil pan. I am 100% sure of this.
The part number is. 11200-PM3-010 or 11200-PM3-020.
The '88's use a different pan. Just cross ref the # with a dealer.

If he is using the stock Z6 header the downpipe will hit the D15/D16 oil pan, he may be able to dent/smash it but I have heard of people cracking/damageing the pan doing this

Hrm I put my old d15b2's oil pan from my 88 STD hatch on my ZC because it's pan was dented all over. I had no fitment issues whatsoever, with both the close-cat downpipe AND with a chikara header for a EG/EK, so I'm interested in hearing people that have REAL experience, not "I heard" or "I think", someone else done this? Mine worked just fine and has now for 6 years (I probably have the longest running ZC in the NW).
I told you guys how to tell if it'll work.
I gave you the part number at the begining of the B2/ A6 oil pan. Call a honda dealer and get the part number for the oil pan for the engine you want to swap to/ or from. If the numbers match. It's a direct swap. (Yes I know, no USDM ZC)
Don't waste your time asking for opinions. Find out by doing.
In my experience it's much LESS aggravating than asking anyone here.
