How about some tech for the thread:
What did you use to clean them?
What are you doing to mount them? - What is your setup?

oh yeah i kinda messed up the boots on it so i replaced it with boots off an 91 accord lx. you think that should be fine to use?

cleaned them up with a wire wheel from school, (gotta love being in highschool still) came out really shinny but i didnt want it to rust so i used high temp spray paint. surprising they look really good for junkyard parts!

planing on using prelude vtec rotors for about 50 shipped from nopionline.com Autozone was charging 80 for 1! Thats crazy!!! Also need a master cylinder probably lookin at a 91 civic 4d ex one, maybe the junkyard might have it.

the question about were to shave has been asnwered look for the 4x114.3 ITR brake tech thread. i shaved of some of the outer calper (the part that faces the spokes of the wheel) really easy to do and doesn't hurt anything. also i hope you are aware that you will need a new hup since the prelude hube is bigger then the civic hub

He asked where to shave off 5 mm stop trying to be the H-T authority telling people their posts will get locked thats what we have moderators for. Why dont you do the right thing instead of +1ing your post count and report the post to a moderator if you feel there is a foul at hand.

******* babies.

and the 5mm you want to grind down for clearance is either that thin metal piece on the outter ends of the caliper or the inside.
