Need some help with decal residue ..
The woman who owned my hatch before me had some really cheesy decals on it and when I took them off it left like sticker residue on the car.
Anyone know of anything that could get this off? Ive tried brake cleaner, that didnt work. And no it didnt eat my paint

GOO Gone has a thing the call "GOO Gone Sticker Lifter". It comes with a little bottle of Goo gone and a lil scraper. Mostly all auto parts stores sell it,I know wal-mart does too.
Used it on my girls car, worked pretty good.

I just tried the goo-gone with the little tool. Didn't work at all. The Goo-gone is too thin and evaporates before it can eat the goo. I used brake parts cleaner and I wiped it off very fast. It took a couple shots, but it cleaned up great. I followed up with some polish and wax. Looks great now. Maybe try mineral spirits?
