it sounds like my engine is low on oil, its a lot of clicking comming from the head. someone told me that the valve seals might be bad. i donno i need some advice, what should i do, replace my valves and seals, or just seals or what???

 

is your valve cover cut off on the right side where the cam gears are?..mine has been having clicking noises also..i think its normal..bc i had a valve adjustment and its still there..sounded after the valve cover was cut

 

if it is the valve seals you'd see blue smoke coming out the exhaust.
i would do a valve adjustment, that should quiet it down some. good luck

 

I agree with the valve adjustment. That happened on my 94 LS. It cost like 60 bucks, I think, for ACURA to do it. I didnt know how at the time.

gsrs are known for loud ticking injectors. do a valve lash adjustment and if the sound is still there, see if it is the injectors. it's not a problem if it is.

 

i do have a lot of smoke comming out of my exaust do you think it could be both, the valve ajustment and the seals ??
