Default HELP FAST!

My only car is out of commission. Somehow all four lugs got bent and when taking lugs off, all four of the lugz snapped off. What all do I need, where can I find parts, etc?

replace them. get 4 new lugs, take off the caliper & bracket, take the rotor or drum off. hammer the old ones out. screw the new ones in, use a bolt for a spacer using a lug nut over it tighten it so its set in place. put everything back.

At an auto parts store they should carry the studs you need just give them year make and model. To get them out you may need a mallot and a punch or somthing to push them out. Then put the new ones in from the back and tighten a lug nut on without the wheel to set it in place. That should run you about $6.

probably easiest to just limp-it to a shop, he said it'd run about 110. Yeah, I know, expensive. But right now I've got three stitches on my left hand that were ripped back open when these lugs snapped. NOT happy. 'preciate the help though.

are you left or right handed? this isnt a very energy effort taking project to do. if your right handed youll be fine. 110 is a little CRAZY! do it yourself!

I'm a righty. Shoulda checked this before I took off, but I limped the car to the shop last night and it's already in one of their slots. I appreiate the help though, and I SO wish I could do it myself but I need the car back in commission ASAP and I can't risk pullin' more stitches out. That **** hurt man! But I do appreciate all help and I will be doin' it myself next time. I'd definitly rather invest the 100 in the suspension (probably gonna be tokico, but time will tell) Thanks again.

Gee gah! Ok! Nevermind! Suddenly my hand can work! This is what the shop told me (I'm not shy, the shop is a company called tires plus that I believe is only in the southeaster corner of the states) on the corner of shallowford and sandy plains to get specific. Marietta area. ANYWAYS! So they called me and told me to call back. I did. They tell me I need a new hub (which, oh yes, thank god, it includes lugs) a new axle, and new CV joint. Grand total? Well...estimate. 534. Now, at the same time, they were kind enough to give me this estimate by driving slowly onto the ramp, lifting it, and, without taking the actual wheel off (I know this because there's only two VERY loose lugs holding the rim back on, but they're locked. So basically, once they come out, they are NOT goin' back in) they looked over and noted the cv boot busted and leaking. However, when I told them I wanted to see (car now being on all four wheels back outside garage) he said that he wasn't allowed to even turn the wheel so I could look in behind it to see all this "damage" and that I had to so he couldnt' be held accountable, let alone take it in the garage and lift it to point to me where everything was snapped. Correct me if wrong....but...BULLSHIT! So I grabbed my haynes manual and I'm looking to do it myself hopefully no later than this weekend. Wish me luck and I"ll let ya'll know the outcome (if you're actually interested)

Can't tell you too much on how it was done as my dad did the car for me while I was at work. All in all the overall cost ran about...eh...80 bucks or so for the new hub and CVboot. Not bad. And the new rims look SUPERFLY. I'd get pix up but I can't use MY computer right now. Thanks for the help and tips yo...

BTW, for whoever makes note, they're 17x7's, Sport Max gunmetal/polished aluminum...I think they're the 914's, can't remember right now. Tirs are 215x40/17R Nankang Sport NR-1 (again, if I remember right) and let me tell ya'll. I ain't never heard of the tire company, but these things haven't broke loose yet. I've taken 90degree right turns at as much as 45, tried e-braking, tried power sliding, tried dropping clutch, and tried locking down hard on the brakes (but not all the way) and taken SEVERAL curvy roads at mid speed (say between 60-85). Doesn't matter if it's just me or me and a friend, nothing's broken them loose. Smooth ride and no sound neither.

1991 civic hatch, stripped interior excl. back seats, dash, and carpet from back seats up. stock braking system, stock suspension, D15block, aged, but still with decent power, stock 4spd std trans with stock (but in good condition) clutch, fully stock engine. Nothing fancy to break them loose, but what I've got has yet to break loose. Definite Nankang fan. Defnitly worth ya'll attention. Yeah, shut up, I kjow it's stock, but it' sin the works. Has anyone else noticed it's harder to find B16 blocks now???
