Need help with locking lugs
Ok so I have these McGard tuner lugs that lock on my car. Great lugs I may add excepts two of them stripped and I cant get them off. I went into a tire place "Les Schwab" and they told me they would have to drill them off. The problem is I don't really want to pay $200 for them to drill them off.
Does anyone know of any ways to remove these lugs? I called McGard and they sent me a key. I think it might work if I spin it on with a gun. Also any tips on drilling the stud out would be helpful. I have access to a compressor and the tools.

you can jbweld the key to the lug. cept that will only get one lug off. I did that and sent in the jbwelded parts to mcgard, they replaced it for free. Might want to try hammering a socket over the lugnut or jbwelding the socket to it also.
Its not that simple.
the guy tried to take my lugs off with a socket unsuccessfully. So I'm going to have to either weld something to the end of the lock and get it off that way or drill the stud.
