Default Leakdown results, need help interpreting

My results from cylinder 1-4 are 10%, 14%, 4%, 4% done on a cold motor. I hear air hissing out of my pcv valve on cylinder 1 and 2. Does that mean that my rings in those 2 cylinders are worn or is the headgasket leaking?

aww man that sucks . . . . I have personally never done a leakdown test, but I hope when I do that things are ok. Are you blowing any blue smoke?

no smoke, compression test is 180-180-180-185. Am I in for a necessary engine rebuild?

A year ago I had a leakdown test of 35% on cylinder 1 and 10-15% on the other cylinders. It's making less power than other similar setups, but it hasn't blown in over a year. I'm not concerned about the block though, as I plan on getting another used LS block to replace when this finally lets go.

That's exactly why I say compression test are inaccurate. Next time just leave the oil filler cap off and listen for air through there.

I did the leakdown test again when my car was warm and I got a set of new percentages 3%, 2%, 2%, 3%. I felt so relieved. I guess I don't need to worry anymore.

I don't think your PCV valve should be leaking if you don't have vacuum in the intake manifold. Maybe you should get a new one, or it was partially out when you were doing the leakdown. Any other thoughts on this?
