Is it possible to run the turbo with the wastegate set wide open, and use a mbc to adjust it? I'm guessing if the mbc breaks, it could overboost like crazy but I'm saying this since my wastegate actuator snapped and it's gonna cost alot of money to fix.

 

ur not gonna be able to build any boost with the wastegate wide open

 

so just have it welded back together?

 

either that or buy a new one...
